Following are some examples of cost savings made possible with SunCoatMAXTM windows.
Air Conditioning load reduction.
SunCoatMAXTM windows don't require any adjustments to a home's design or framing.
Specifying SunCoatMAXTM doesn't add any additional job site labor expenses, giving you even
greater savings.
In some cases, these windows may eliminate the need for highly insulated ducts, which in turn
require increased framing depth.
Milgard's SunCoatMAXTM can be used in all vinyl and fiberglass Milgard windows and patio
doors to meet Energy STAR® guidelines.
The savings add up even more with rebates and tax credits. Using SunCoatMAXTM can help you qualify
for local and federal rebates and tax credits ranging from $500 to $2500 per home, depending on your particular area.
All Milgard windows come with a factory lifetime guarantee, at the same cost as other windows that
don't have SunCoatMAXTM.
SunCoatMAX reduces solar heat gain 62.5% over ordinary single-coat, Low E glass!
Cool Summers — Let in the sun, not the heat.
Warm Winters - Keep in the heat, keep out the cold.

Another very important factor with insulation is the use of the right kind of caulking. There are
actually three types of caulking that go into the making of a perfectly weather-proof, thermal seal
around a window.
Finely Finished uses Titebond: Weathermaster Sealant, which has a lifetime durability
guarantee. This is used for the back bead application and is applied under the fin and frames before
installation. This superior polymer formula provides exceptional flexibility (no shrinking or cracking)
and an unbeatable adhesion to wood, fiberboard, vinyl, aluminum, metal, brass and other commonly
used building materials. It is waterproof, even in extreme weather conditions, resists dirt pick-up, and
it is UV resistant.
The secondary caulking we use is Premium Elastometric Latex, another waterproof sealant, for the
exterior seals exposed to the weather. It is mildew resistant and guaranteed for fifty years to stay
flexible and free from drying up or cracking.
The interior sealant used is Acrylic Latex Caulking for extra protection from leaks. Most other window
companies don't use this caliber of sealing technology. Finely Finished goes the extra
step for the satisfaction of our customers.
Warranties. Good news and bad news.
The good news is that most manufacturers offer a lifetime warranty on all parts of the window.
The bad news is that they don't offer any labor to fix that free part. Some even charge you for
the shipping.
The good news is that the local window dealer offers a labor warranty. The bad news is that
the labor warranty is usually only for one year, and then you are on your own.
The good news is that the manufacturers and their warranties are usually pretty reliable. The
bad news is that the local window dealers are usually not. Typically, the local window dealer
goes out of business, or switches to another window manufacturer, leaving their customers out
in the cold (no pun intended).
Here is a tip: find out more about the window manufacturer and what warranties and
customer services they offer. The really great window manufacturers have their own service
technicians right here in town. That way, even if the local window dealer goes out of business,
the customer still has service.
The good news is that some window manufacturers even offer "accidental glass breakage"
warranties. They will give you replacement glass for your broken window at no charge. The
bad news is that they offer no labor on the replacement glass. The customer has to pay for the
labor.
More good news is that some local window dealers, like Finely Finished, offer labor
warranties for accidental glass breakage. The bad news is that not many do. In fact, I know of
only two companies offering labor for accidental glass breakage, and Finely Finished is one of them.
Finely Finished is also a member of the League of California Home Owners.

on the job and verify with your signature.
